How it works

From idea to live site in four steps

No templates, no drag and drop, no code. Just say what you need and point at what to change.

  1. Step 1

    Create a project

Sign up and start a project. It begins as a small, working site with a home and an about page, ready for the builder to reshape.

  2. Step 2

    Describe what you need

Tell the builder about the business, the audience and the pages. It plans the work, writes the pages and checks each one as it goes.

  3. Step 3

    Shape it by pointing

Pick elements in the live preview and say what to change. Check every screen size. Undo anything you don't like.

  4. Step 4

    Publish and share

Publish to the gallery for a public address. Keep refining in private and publish again whenever you're happy.

Starter prompts

Copy one, change the details

A good first message names the business, the pages and the feel. These are a good place to start.

Café or bakery

“Build a site for Rise & Crumb, a neighbourhood bakery. Pages: home with today's specials, a menu with prices, opening hours and a map, and a page about our bakers. Warm, friendly tone.”

Consultant

“Create a site for my bookkeeping practice for small businesses. Home with a clear offer and a booking button, services with prices, testimonials, an about page and contact. Calm and trustworthy.”

Product launch

“Make a launch page for Tidy, an app that sorts email receipts. Hero with a waitlist form, three key features, a pricing table with two plans, FAQ, and a short changelog page.”

Portfolio

“Build a portfolio for a wedding photographer. A full-width gallery home, packages with prices, a page about me, and an enquiry form. Elegant, lots of white space.”

Event

“Create a page for a one-day design conference on 14 March: schedule, speakers with photos, venue and travel, tickets in three tiers, and sponsors.”

Tips

Getting the best from the builder

Start with the essentials

Who it's for, what you offer, and what visitors should do next (call, book, buy). The builder fills in the rest.

Paste your own words

Real copy beats placeholder text. Paste descriptions, prices or opening hours straight into the chat.

One change at a time

Small, specific requests ("make the header sticky") work better than a list of twenty.

Point instead of describing

Tag the element in the preview rather than explaining where it is. It's faster and never ambiguous.

Write down decisions

Brand colours, tone, things to avoid: put them in the project's notes (AGENTS.md) and every future change follows them.

Use branches for big ideas

Trying a new look? Start a chat on its own branch. Main stays safe until you merge.
